Gaspard Hex is a young jewellery maker working in Paris who cites his influences as The Gates of Hell by Rodin, David Lynch, Peter Greenaway and Francis Bacon. Interestingly, this creative 24 year old is primarily a musician producing experimental pieces and Berlin techno, German expressionist cinema or the work on materials by Anselm Kiefer also inspire him. Through his work Hex wants to examine a certain spirituality of nature which he believes has been forgotten today and is waiting to be recuperated. His raw sterling silver creations are based on a reflection on the destruction of nature and its eternal rebirth and he affirms that wearing the pieces will make you a messenger of the universe. Gaspard Hex is exclusive to Fallow in Australia and available now in store.
